The organization is not saying that guns are the answer to our country's problems. It's about restoring the values that made our independence possible — values such as discipline, responsibility, persistence and self-reliance. (I think we can agree that those are good, admirable qualities.) Marksmanship happens to teach those values — but it also acts as a deterrent against a tyrannical government. While that may seem like the stuff of 250 years ago, humans' desire for power and control has not changed so much during that time.
